Criteria for Revalidation
To renew your certification, undertake the subsequent steps:
- Documentation of 150 days of sea experience noted in your NI/IMCA journal within the last five years prior to your application.
- Finish a Continuing Professional Development course sanctioned by NI and pass The NI CPD Revalidation assessment OR The NI DP Refresher training.
Should your sea experience fall short of the necessary duration, you must fulfill one of the alternatives below.
- Those with 30 to 150 days of maritime experience are required to finish the NI DP Refresher Program.
- Completion of the NI DP Revalidation Course is mandatory if your maritime experience is under 30 days.
